On Wednesday 12th November, a group of 32 year 7 pupils took part in an indoor athletics competition against 8 other schools in the borough as part of the SSCo programme.Each pupil entered a track and field event and some also took part in the relay.
4 excellent sports leaders, Anna, Jamie, Jon and Susannah motivated, organised and encouraged their allocated teams throughout the day. Their help was invaluable and they did a fantastic job.
The year 7 all did very well, worked hard and were a credit to the school.
Especially to be congratulated are
Dominique who came 3rd in the long jump
Nathan who came 3rd in the 600m run
Chyna who came 2nd in the hurdles
And the girls team who came 3rd overall.
